Messenger reaches Mercury.

For the first time in History a man-made probe has entered Mercury's orbit. It has been a six and a half years trip for the Messenger (Mercury Surface, Space Environment, Geochemistry & Ranging). This month, the probe has started to send images and data from the innermost planet of the Solar System.
